The North West Centre for Waste Management (CWM) is a project designed to help the region's SME businesses with a variety of issues relating to waste management and enhancing sustainability.

Managed by the University of Central Lancashire in conjunction with Edge Hill University, the University of Manchester and North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, the project provides a wide range of services. Many of these are completely free and will help you to cut costs, reduce waste and improve your business competitiveness. CWM offers many important benefits including helping you to ensure compliance with current legislation.
